Three phone screens from Find A Brainrot on a purple background: creatures pinned on a street map, a creature caught in AR in a hallway, and the care screen with food, water, and energy bars.

Find A Brainrot is a Pokémon Go style game built for families. Thirty-two characters hide around your real neighborhood. Players walk to find them, catch them on the map or through AR, and keep them happy at home with food, drink, and exercise.

Every character is one of the Italian Brainrots (opens in a new tab), the meme creatures kids already know by name. Favorites like Tung Tung Tung Sahur (opens in a new tab) and Tralalero Tralala (opens in a new tab) each have their own page with rarity and where to find them, and you can browse all the Brainrots (opens in a new tab) to see the full roster.

It is built for kids with grown-ups in the loop: managed kid profiles, PIN logins, approved friends, and no ads, purchases, or tracking.

Rails 8 monolith with an admin portal, Hotwire Native mobile shell, and an AI-assisted 3D asset pipeline.

  • Creatures appear on a map of your own streets: the Hunt screen, with Brainrots pinned across a city map around the player.
  • See them walk around, then catch them in AR: a creature standing in a hallway seen through the phone camera, 76 meters away, with the prompt Swipe up to throw.
  • Every catch gets a room at home: Ballerina Cappuccina in her room with food, water, and energy at 88 percent, and a Brainrot Parade banner.
  • Feed, water and play to keep them well: the care screen for Glorbo Fruttodrillo with food, water, and energy bars, health and earnings, and Feed, Water, and Play buttons.
  • Grown-ups see how every kid is doing: the settings screen with grown-up controls and a kid profile in PIN-required kid mode.
  • Walk through your own base in AR: a two-storey base with the player's name over the door, placed in a real yard through the camera.
  • Rare brainrots walk the red carpet at the parade: Wrexzilla and other creatures on a red carpet with the parade timer and rarity tags.
  • Fuse up to four into something rarer: the Fuse machine with four Brainrots loaded and the odds of rare, epic, and legendary results.
